Enough Internet is a free browser extension that interrupts endless scrolling. You sign in with Google so we can understand whether it actually helps people scroll less.
What we collect
- Your Google account's name, email address and profile picture.
- Whether you want emails from us. Signing in means you agree to the usage measurement below and to emails about Enough Internet, which you can stop any time.
- Your Enough Internet settings (scroll limit, break length, chosen animation).
- Events from the extension: when an interruption appears and on which site (the domain only, such as youtube.com), whether you took the break or kept scrolling, pausing and resuming, and settings changes.
- How many seconds you scrolled per day on each supported site.
What we never collect
- What you read, watch or type, and the content of any page.
- Full page addresses or your browsing history.
- Activity on sites Enough Internet doesn't run on.
The extension needs permission to access all sites so it can take a picture of the page for the Melt, Shred and Janitor animations, and so new sites can be added without an update. That picture stays in your browser and is never uploaded.
How we use it
Only to measure and improve Enough Internet, and, if you opted in, to email you about Enough Internet and its updates. We don't sell or share your data, and we don't use it for advertising.
Where it's stored
In Google Firebase (Firestore, in the EU). Only you and the Enough Internet team can access your data.
Your choices
- To stop emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email or reply and ask.
- To delete your data, email nirkalfon.1@gmail.com and we'll remove it.
- Uninstalling the extension stops all collection.
